which is an inspired rendition of the 2nd verse of the Gospel of Thomas as found here.

would you like to talk about it?
Typing out these mysteries is so tedious, you know?

The original translation reads:

2 Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all."

Baba flowed it to this:

Keep looking until you find what you're looking for; when you find what you are looking for, however, you will become quite upset; yet, when you become quite upset - you will be in awed wonder; and then, you will gain a degree of command and influence among all life.

Let's go in reverse, for Heaven's Sake:
What are you looking for?
Why would you be upset when you find it?
What could make you feel awe-struck after feeling upset, spiritually?
How, and what does it mean to gain a degree of command and influence among all life - after being awestruck??

Hint:
Enlightenment experience.

Are you not going to keep seeking tranquility until you find it?
What could be upsetting about trying to find such unity?
Well -
maybe you will be sad upon realizing the state of the world and how your are in some way responsible for it, or at least involved in fixing/perpetuating it...
or maybe the upset is not sad -
but something more disturbing -
like the upsetness that comes with the samadhi-shlepping of the body...or...
yet -
after such an upset-experience -
the attainment of unity is tasted and gained like a jewel in a box in a locket in the heart...and such glorious union of God and Self in utter egolessness is what we are calling awed-wonder...
You won't "rule over all" -
and yet the lack of "you" is already the Ruler -
and you will have attained unity with HE- the Original Creator, Holy One, Blessed Be HE, now and forever.

Subject: planting fall by the moon schedule...

Excellent for sowing grains, hay and forage crops. Plant flowers.

6-7 Excellent time for planting above ground crops that can be planted now, including leafy vegetables, which will do well. Start seedbeds.

8-9 Clear fence rows, woodlots and fields, but do no planting.

10-11 Any above ground crops that can be planted now will do well.

12-13 Poor planting days. Kill plant pests.

I appreciate the gusto, but please note how many things you propose for us to do and how much time we actually devote to doing anything. Our natural inclination is to discuss spiritual texts, and point to the creative projects we might be considering in our own ways... This is why the I Ching pointed to Before Completion when we spoke of the Surangama, because it wants us to find something that we will see through to the end. Where does this one fit with all the zillion others?
